      Imagine a lizard with the size of an alligator. Its teeth are razor sharp and its claws can shred flesh like your rip paper. It can stand on its hind legs, climb, swim, burrow and it can run as fast as you can. However, this giant monitor lizard comes from Indonesia and doesn��t hunt human. It eats just about any other animal.

     In the age dinosaur the komodo dragons looked like a lizard, but they��re actually the survivors ( the only ones ) of a groups of roptiles that can came into being about 220 million years ago, the thme when Komodo ancestors were swimming in the sea. Today Komodo Dragons live only in one small group of island in Indonesia.

   Komodo dragons don��t brush their teeth after eating, and they frequently eat rotten meat, although these monitor lizards aren��t venomous, animals bitten by them often become fatally ill due to the bacteria in the lizard��s mouth. You don��t want any of these animals to bite you either !! Their bites too can cause sickness.
